Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland is seeking a compliance professional focused on the 340B program. You will perform audits, educate staff, and ensure adherence to 340B statutes and HRSA guidance while supporting Medicaid and Medicare billing requirements.

Working under the 340B Director, you will communicate audit results to leadership, collaborate across departments, and uphold MetroHealth’s standards of service and integrity in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Associate degree in Business or healthcare-related field plus 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of the 340B drug program.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including statistics and comparative analysis.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to other sites within The MetroHealth System.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to sit/stand as required and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under the Director of the 340B Program, perform compliance-related activities on 340B governed systems and processes.
• Conduct audits per the audit plan and report status to management and pertinent parties.
• Educate employee groups on compliance matters and assist with resolving customer service issues.

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8-430 m - f

Summary:

Under the direction of the Director - 340B Program, performs compliance-related activities on systems and processes governed by 340B statute, HRSA Guidance, Medicaid and Medicare billing requirements, and MetroHealth Policy. Conducts audits as described in the audit plan and communicates the status of compliance program accomplishments to the management team and other pertinent parties. Educates employee groups on compliance matters and assists with resolving customer service issues. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:

Meets one of the following

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field, and 2 years of relevant work experience
• Associate degree in Business or other healthcare-related field, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that equates to one of the aforementioned requirements.
• Knowledge of the 340B drug program.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel including statistical and comparative analysis.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to other sites within The MetroHealth System based on operational needs.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
• Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Business,
• Public Administration, or other related degree. Experience in healthcare compliance.
• Experience working in an auditing capacity. Current Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
• Working knowledge of financial accounting and billing procedures.
