Job summary

New South Express (NSE)- Honda Logistics of North America in Lincoln, AL is seeking an Associate in the Transportation department. The position is 1st shift, hours 5:50am - 2:20pm, and duties include leading a team to meet safety, quality and efficiency goals.

Candidates must hold a valid forklift license, be willing to work any shift, speak in front of groups, attend pre-shift meetings, and have strong communication, organization, and PC skills. AS400 and GPCS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must always have and maintain a Valid Forklift License.
• Willingness and ability to motivate a team.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Analytical and PC skills (must be able to function on a PC).
• High level of teamwork.
• Forklift certified.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.
• Able to work overtime as needed and weekends.
• AS400 and GPCS Preferred.
• Must be able to Multi-Task and Work at a Fast Pace.
• Must have a good attendance record and be willing to promote good attendance.
• Must promote and enforce all policies which include safety.
• Must lead by example with complete fairness and ethics.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform mathematics.
• All Section Leaders must not have received or retain more than one (1) active Level 1 Counseling/Progressive Discipline within a “rolling” 12-month period.
