Super Save Group is hiring a 310T Commercial Transport Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of commercial vehicles. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems while following safety policies.

We seek a safety-conscious, team-oriented professional with a Journeyman Heavy Duty certification and a clean driver's license. The role is on-site in Put-in-Bay, Ohio, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification required.
• G Driver’s License with clean abstract; Class DZ is a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Experience with Cummins INSITE or similar diagnostic tools preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely.
• Team player with strong safety practices and communication skills.
• Experience in the Disposal Industry is an asset.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and equipment, including oil changes and brake services.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch on maintenance schedules and vehicle availability.
• Adhere to Safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain equipment for optimal operation.
• Interpret work orders and manuals with accuracy; document service reports.
• Ensure work complies with manufacturers’ specs and regulatory requirements.

About The Role

Are you a safety‑conscious, highly skilled, and experienced mechanic looking for an exciting and challenging job opportunity? As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Transport Mechanics to join our team. The 310T Commercial Transport Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of commercial vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and vehicle diagnostics.

Key Qualifications

• Completion of Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
• G Driver’s License with clean abstract. (Class DZ Drivers are considered an asset)
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment testing (Drug & Alcohol)
• Experience using Cummins INSITE™ is an added advantage, or similar diagnostic tools are desired
• Welding experience will be considered an asset
• Physically fit and able to safely lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be a team player and have safe working habits
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential
• Experience in the Disposal Industry will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs safely on commercial vehicles and equipment, including inspections, oil changes, and brake services
• Safely troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Communicate with dispatch and other team members regarding maintenance schedules and vehicle availability
• Observant with a commitment to following all Super Save Group’s established safety policies and procedures
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment to keep it running smoothly
• Interpret work orders and manuals with precision
• Compose detailed service reports
• Ensure compliance with manufacturers’ specifications and legislative regulations

Compensation

• Ranges from $42/hour-$42/hour
