Job description

Foundry Production Supervisor

This position will be responsible for managing our Drysand foundry production operations to ensure compliance with CWI work instructions, ISO, and Nadcap certification standards.

Foundry Supervisor Qualifications:

This role requires managing production employees, meeting production schedule deadlines, and maintaining high standards of quality to deliver world-class products to our customers.

Education:

A two or four-year degree, or equivalent supervisory or management experience, is required.

You will supervise all aspects of our drysand foundry production to ensure high-quality castings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Employee management: Directing and assisting employees to achieve excellent workmanship, ensuring proper operation of equipment, processing timecards, managing time off, reviews, discipline, grievances, layoffs, and discharges.
  • Scheduling: Meeting or exceeding the Master Schedule, organizing manpower, and maintaining efficiency and quality standards. Responsible for accurate reporting of production metrics.
  • Equipment, Materials, and Process Management: Ensuring procedures are in place for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with purchasing for supplies, and establishing process controls.

Salary and Hours

Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000, depending on experience. Hours are on 2nd shift, 45 hours per week.
