Job summary

Vylor, Inc. offers a 3-month biotechnology internship in Johnston, IA. You will work with scientists across Trait Discovery, Trait Characterization, and Genome Center of Excellence, contributing to gene editing, plant biology, and genomic projects.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate program with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Must be enrolled for Fall of 2027 and have completed at least one year of studies.
• Willing to relocate to Johnston, IA for the internship duration.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Contribute skills to research in one of three main areas: TDO, TCD or GCOE.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe lab environment.
• Provide technical support and conduct experiments with the team.
• Summarize results and report to supervisor, presenting findings when needed.
