Job summary

GoodLife Innovations is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support positive behaviors, teach communication skills, assist with daily living tasks, and help clients engage in community activities in group homes and Day Service centers.

Caregiving roles are entry-level, with a 3-day workweek schedule Thu/Fri/Sat, shifts 7am-7pm or 8am-8pm.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record (day positions only)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals
• Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs

Responsibilities

• Support positive behaviors and teach communication skills
• Maintain health and hygiene for individuals
• Encourage community engagement and daily living skills
• Transport clients in company van and assist with personal care needs
