Job summary

An established industry player is looking for a dedicated Coordinator for the 2025 Annual General Assembly. This role involves planning and coordinating various aspects of the Assembly, including developing the agenda, assisting with staffing, and ensuring all logistical needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have a valid driver's license. Qualifications

Job description

1. 2025 Annual General Assembly Coordinator

Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation is seeking one Coordinator to coordinate the 2025 Annual General Assembly that will be held at Airport Lake.

Work dates: May 28th to June 10th, 2025

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing the Assembly agenda in consultation with LSCFN Executive Director and Chief and Council
  • Assist in the hiring process of GA staff
  • Monitoring Cooks, Cooks Helpers, Labours, Traditional Events Coordinator, Daycare Workers & Driver and assisting in ensuring that the
  • Working with head cook to plan meals
  • Arranging travel for Citizens and Elders as required
  • Ensuring sound system is available for assembly dates
  • Understanding GA budget & following budget
  • Liaison with the Executive Assistant and Council Secretary for door prizes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Yukon Driver's license class 5 with a personal own vehicle
  • Coordinating experience preferred
  • Good communication skills, well organized, reliable & committed, working flexible hours, ability to public speak
  • Basic First Aid
  • Friendly and professional
  • Good problem-solving skills
