Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm specializing in healthcare placements, is partnering with a respected Critical Access Hospital near Winner, SD, to find a compassionate and skilled Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting 13-week contract.

This is a unique opportunity to serve in a small-town hospital where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on maternal and newborn care.

Position Details

• Location: Near Winner, South Dakota
• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital
• Pay: Up to $2,200
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shifts Available:
• Days: 3x12 or 4x12
• Nights: 3x12 or 4x12

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor patient vitals, fetal heart rates, and labor progression.
• Administer medications and assist in labor-inducing procedures.
• Communicate effectively with obstetricians and healthcare teams.
• Educate and support mothers and families during and after childbirth.
• Ensure safety and comfort for patients in a low-resource, high-impact care environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• License: Active RN license – South Dakota or Compact State
• Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE preferred

• Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience in rural or Critical Access settings a plus
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
