Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is seeking an Assistant Teacher for a play-based early childhood program in Summit, NJ. The role is mornings (Mon/Wed/Fri) and supports a strong 2s team under the guidance of the Director of Early Childhood & Family Engagement.

Qualified applicants will typically hold a Bachelor’s degree or coursework in education or child development, with prior experience with young children. Student candidates pursuing a degree in education will be considered.

Job description

We are a play-based early childhood program, looking for an Assistant Teacher to join a strong 2s team. The hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 8:45 am – 12:15 pm. A Bachelor’s degree and experience working with young children is preferred, though a student working toward a degree in education or a related field will be considered.
