Job summary

Universal Logistics in Conley, GA is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Yard Switcher to join our team. You will perform trailer switches, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and coordinate with warehouse staff to keep the yard organized and the operation running smoothly. Schedule: Tue–Sat, 3PM–11PM.

Pay: $21.50/hour on 2nd shift; benefits after 90 days including medical, dental and vision. A safe driving record and adherence to DOT safety policies are required, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No Felonies or DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer switches according to schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Check trailer numbers and verify documentation.
• Report equipment damage or safety issues.
• Maintain yard organization and traffic flow.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and dispatch.
• Follow all DOT and company safety policies.
