Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Yard Driver for the 2nd shift to transport and dock trailers in the Receiving yard. The role requires inspecting trucks, staging trailers for inbound/outbound routes, and maintaining a clean work area while prioritizing safety. You must have six months of non-CDL driving experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Six months of non-CDL driving experience within the last 12 months.
• Clear MVR (no DUI/DWI in the last 12 months).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme weather.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license.
• Willing to communicate with supervisors and team via 2-way radio.
• Able to pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections on yard trucks and report defects.
• Keep yard trucks and work area clean; remove debris and trash.
• Load/unload and stage full trailers for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure safety is the top priority while operating yard equipment.
