Barron Industries, a leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd shift Working Production Supervisor in Oxford, MI. You will lead production workers across all departments to meet daily goals in a safe, disciplined environment.

The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and hands-on problem solving. You'll coordinate with first shift, maintain accurate records in Plexus, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring quality and on-time output.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3–5 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 2–4 years of supervisory, team leadership, or lead-person experience preferred.
• Experience in investment casting, precision machining, or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience working with quality systems, production documentation, and manufacturing ERP systems preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with first shift to ensure smooth production flow in Plexus.
• Paperwork completed and job status accurate in Plexus system (absent/tardy, AVO forms).
• Employees understand daily production requirements and are capable to complete the work assigned to them (use daily work report).
• Employees achieve production output based on quoted rates.
• Improvements in process and methods identified and implemented with quality and engineering.
• Rework is accommodated with minimal disruption to production schedule.
• Employee reviews (annual and 90-day) are completed on time.
• Make sure all departments follow priority generated by Production Control.
• Responsible for security of building during shift.
• First responder in case of accidents or incidents during shift.
• Fill in where needed to keep production moving.

Barron Industries, a leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing since 1983, is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Working Production Supervisor to join our team in Oxford, MI. This position is responsible to lead and work with all production workers in all departments (wax, shell, burnout, casting, finishing, & shipping) on the 2nd shift in order to achieve daily/weekly production goals while providing a safe and well disciplined work environment.

• Knowledge of workplace safety practices, hazard recognition, accident reporting, and injury prevention.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond quickly to changing production priorities
