Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a 2nd Shift Fitting & Welding Foreman in York, PA. This Direct Hire role leads the second shift, coordinating fabrication operations, scheduling, quality, and equipment usage to meet production timelines.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in fitting and welding environments, strong English communication, and the ability to manage personnel, safety, and production quality on a fast-paced shop floor.

Qualifications

• 2nd shift supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with fitting, welding, and/or metal fabrication is required.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and support shop employees during the second shift.
• Enforce safety policies and standard work procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day fabrication activities, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain and update production and fabrication schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Develop and communicate standard fabrication procedures.
