Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift at our Hodges, SC facility. Core hours are 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation includes $22.83 per hour plus a $1 shift premium and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

The Welder will set up and perform metal joining and cutting on ferrous and nonferrous metals, reading blueprints and manufacturing instructions, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must have a Welding Certification/Diploma in Basic Welding from an accredited institution (e.g., Piedmont Technical College Basic Welding Certificate).
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Hodges, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform metal joining and cutting with ferrous and nonferrous metals.
• Weld parts using correct machine settings and materials.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and instructions.
• Measure, align, and verify work with calipers and gauges.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety guidelines.
• Support 5S+ sustainment in the area.
