Job summary

Apex Tool Group in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a 2nd shift Welder. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, onsite.

You will weld components, maintain quality, and follow safety rules. Benefits start on day one: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, HSA, 3 weeks PTO, 11 holidays, and a $1 shift premium.

This position requires at least 1 year of production welding experience and the ability to work OT, with a focus on efficiency and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year work experience in production welding.
• Demonstrated welding ability.
• Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding work and activities required to produce Apex products.
• Weld components at a fast pace and in vertical positions and downward motion.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt components to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Ignite torches and start power supplies, strike arcs, and adjust gas flow for welding operations.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report safety/maintenance concerns.
