Job summary

Lozier Corporation is seeking a Welder to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. You will perform MIG and related welding tasks, read blueprints, and ensure weld quality while adhering to safety standards.

The role may involve operating robotic welders and collaborating with engineers to optimize processes. The position offers a 4x10 schedule (Mon–Thu), a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, technical training, or certifications preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in one or more welding processes in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Required skills include ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, tolerances, and metallurgy basics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to perform accurate welding operations.
• Set up welding equipment and select materials and parameters.
• Perform welding safely to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance with specs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve processes.
