Job summary

Hendrickson in McKinney, TX seeks an experienced welder to support production by performing MIG, hand, and robotic welding to meet quality standards. The role includes inspecting welded parts, reporting daily activities, and maintaining equipment. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, blueprints, and adherence to procedures.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, welding experience, and the ability to pass a welding certification and drug screen. Lifting up to 65 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required. Prior welding experience, required.
• Ability to pass welding certification test.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.

Physical Demands

Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp. Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs.

Environmental Conditions

Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility. Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
