Job summary

Reliable Cleaning in Auburn, IN is seeking evening shift janitorial/general cleaners for a family facility to perform the following duties and more.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, stock supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate with Area Managers; you should be reliable, punctual, able to lift 30 lbs, pass background check, and be willing to learn new cleaning methods.

Qualifications

• Saturday and Sunday evening shifts available.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, squat, push and pull for 2+ hour shift.
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and equipment.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors; dusting; emptying trash; cleaning base boards, counters, tables in offices, conference rooms, classrooms, cafeteria and restrooms.
• Stocking and re-stocking supplies; maintaining supply inventory; communicating when more supplies are needed.
• Open communication with Area Managers and office staff regarding concerns, supply ordering, complaints, etc.
• Additional tasks as needed.

• General cleaning to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, of floors. Dusting, emptying trash, cleaning base boards, counters, tables in offices, conference rooms, classrooms, cafeteria and restrooms.
• Stocking and re-stocking supplies
• Maintain supply inventory, communicate when more supplies are needed
• Additional tasks as needed
• Open communication with Area Managers and office staff regarding any concerns, supply ordering, complaints, etc

Requirements:

• 5 hours shifts both Saturday & Sunday
• Saturday after 8:30pm; Sunday after 6:30pm
• Must pass criminal background check
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs routinely 2+ hours (each shift).
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, squat, push and pull for 2+ hour shift
• Willingness and desire to learn new and more efficient cleaning processes, this may include learning about and being trained on new types of equipment or different cleaning methods, etc).
