Midwest Hose & Specialty in Oklahoma City is hiring for an industrial weaving operator role within our fast-paced hose manufacturing process. You will operate circular looms, rewind yarn, load warp creels, and ensure material quality from start to finish.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing/walking 100% daily.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate circular looms and change weft bobbins.
• Thread yarn into looms and load creels.
• Air splice warp yarn ends.
• Inspect woven jackets for defects.
• Package and prepare jackets for transfer.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.

Summary of Position:This role works in the fast-paced manufacturing process of industrial hoses. Specific functions include running a circular loom, yarn rewinding machines, as well as checking materials made for quality.Roles and Responsibilities:Operate circular looms, change weft bobbins, and thread yarn into loomsOperate yarn rewinding machinesLoad creels with warp yarn packagesAir splicing warp yarn ends togetherInspection of woven jacketFlake woven jacket into large containersMaintain quality standards checking product for defectsEffectively communicate information to all Weaving OperatorsMaintain safe and clean work environmentPerform any other assigned proprietary dutiesQualifications and Requirements:Attention to detailAbility to retain product knowledgeEnergetic, outgoing, and positive attitudeGood organization skillsReliable and dependablePre-employment drug screening and background check conductedPhysical Demands:Standing or walking 100% dailyAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety StandardsMust be able to meet the physical demands typical in a manufacturing environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes.Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received dailyEducation and Experience:High School diploma or GED (required)About Us:Midwest Hose is one of the largest hose and fitting wholesale distributors in North America.
