Zeeland Farm Services I is seeking a 2nd Shift Wash Bay Attendant in Zeeland, MI. You will wash company trucks and other vehicles, keeping the wash bay and grounds clean, and assist with light maintenance and basic repairs.

Responsibilities include applying chemicals, maintaining equipment, assisting mechanics, and delivering parts as needed while upholding safety and quality standards. Competitive hourly pay with full-time hours on the second shift.

Qualificações

• Education: High School or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide washing services to company and outside customers’ equipment, applying the correct chemicals and cleaners.
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of machinery, equipment, building and grounds.
• Assist mechanic in preventative maintenance, light repairs, tire changes, and other duties as directed.
• Arrange boxes, materials, parts and/or other equipment in neat and orderly manner; pick up/deliver parts as needed.
• Clean and maintain company owned passenger vehicles.
• Assist all other employees and department as required for efficient garage operation.
• Provide a customer service attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while achieving quality standards.
• Conform with and abide by regulations, policies, work procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $23.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

Responsible for the washing of company trucks, outside vehicles, and keeping the Maintenance Garage work area, Wash Bay, and grounds in clean and orderly condition and performing light maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide washing services to company and outside customers’ equipment as needed, applying the correct chemicals and cleaners.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the machinery, equipment, building and grounds on an as needed basis and as requested.
• Assists mechanic in preventative maintenance, light repairs, tire changes, and other duties as directed.
• Arranges boxes, materials, parts and/or other equipment in neat and orderly manner. Pick up/delver parts as needed.
• Clean and maintain company owned passenger vehicles.
• Assist all other employees and department as required for efficient garage operation.
• Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High School or Equivalent preferred
• Experience:three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Mechanically inclined and able to perform light maintenance or repairs.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to drive a tractor-trailer a short distance.
• Ability to climb tankers or containers using a harness.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to maintain good attendance habits.
• Abide by all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
• Abide by company’s safety, quality, environmental and HR policies at all times.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
