Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Warehouse Technician for second shift (9 AM–5:30 PM) to help receive, store, and ship materials. The role involves maintaining organized storage, tagging items for identification, and using warehouse management systems as needed.

The position requires at least one year of warehouse experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and an ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of related warehouse experience.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
Active Secret clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Position ships, receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility.
Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility in an organized manner and convenient location for removal when needed.
Makes marks or tags articles as necessary for identification purposes.
Retrieves stored material when requested, transports it to the requester, and returns material to storage as required.
Develops and maintains effective warehouse storage practices that promote efficient storage, identification and retrieval.
Maintains warehouse and shipping records and may use automated warehouse management system.
May operate hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.
