Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Site Supervisor for 2nd shift (Sun-Thurs, 3:30pm – Finish) in Byhalia, MS. This role leads daily site operations, trains new hires, and represents Capstone with our Partners, prioritizing safety and productivity.

With 2–5 years of supervisor experience in distribution/transportation, you will develop budgets, balance workloads, and drive a high‑performance culture while advancing toward running your own site.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven customer service experience for internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and prioritization.
• Ability to multi-task and make timely decisions under pressure.
• Experience in budgeting, P&L interpretation, and management reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Balance daily deposits and create work logs for transmission to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer or associate issues daily.
• Enforce Capstone policies and safety work rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with associate participation.
• Assist in managing site and departmental budgets.
• Schedule shifts to meet customer requirements.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Oversee data entry for services performed and payroll records.
• Complete daily closeout and payroll data uploads per SOPs.
