Job summary

Lineage is hiring for a 2nd shift warehouse associate in Chicago, IL. You will read work orders, move products with forklift and pallet jack, verify counts with RF scanning, and prepare shipments for loading.

You must be able to lift 40 lbs, work in cold or dry storage, and operate in a team environment while following safety rules. The role offers competitive pay and benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Ability to read pallet identification numbers and follow instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work in cold and dry storage environments and wear PPE as required.
• Comfortable lifting a minimum of 40 lbs and working a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse.
• Change over pallets for picking and visually inspect items for damages or flaws.
• Document damages to supervisors or leads.
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning to verify counts.
• Alert leaders of any product issues and await directions.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
