Job summary

Gordon Food Service, located in Wyoming, MI, is hiring for a 2nd shift Warehouse Order Picker. Starting pay is $21.90 per hour, plus a $1 shift premium, with the possibility of a 5th day.

The role involves a 4-day work week with hours from 5:30 PM to finish, and training is provided without prior experience. Responsibilities include selecting items for orders, using scanners, and lifting up to 100 pounds while working in a freezer when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, and related information.
• Able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions and lift up to 100 pounds.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare items for orders according to pick lists and scanners.
• Move products in a distribution center and prepare for delivery.
• Work in a freezer environment as required.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and organization within the warehouse.
