Job summary

Neogen in Mount Sterling, IL is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) to move materials, replenish locations, and support inventory accuracy.

You will operate forklifts, work with SAP inventory software, and participate in physical inventories while following safety procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork and dependable attendance in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or at least six months of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory software.
• Basic computer and math skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and finished goods to designated warehouse locations and record transfers in the inventory system.
• Fulfill inventory requests and transfer products into or out of quarantine as directed.
• Process scrap paperwork and dispose of materials according to company guidelines.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Operate forklifts safely and maintain a current, valid certification.
• Support other departments and complete additional duties as assigned.
