Hillman Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Outbound Lead to oversee daily shipping operations and guide a warehouse team. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are 3:30 pm - 1:00 am (Mon-Thu) and 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm (Fri), with potential additional hours. Hourly pay starts at $22.50 plus shift differential, reflecting responsibilities in outbound shipping and cross-training support.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred
• Prior lead, trainer, or team leadership experience preferred
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer and spreadsheet proficiency

• Sort packages and use RF scanners to verify shipment status
• Inspect packages for quality, proper labeling, and damage-free shipment
• Train team members and provide constructive feedback

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Operate and perform safety checks on warehouse equipment as needed
• Support cross-training efforts and assist in other departments when required

We're looking for a motivated and experienced 2nd Shift Outbound Lead to help oversee daily shipping operations and provide leadership to our warehouse team. Hours: 3:30 pm - 1:00 am (Monday -Thursday) & 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm (Friday)

Additional hours may be required based on business needs

Hourly Pay: $22.50 + Shift Differential

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED

2+ years of warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred

Previous lead, trainer, or team leadership experience preferred

Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Computer and spreadsheet proficiency

PIT equipment experience and certifications preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment

Shipping/Receiving: Fast-paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Shipping/Receiving: Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs.
