Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. in Portland, OR is hiring a warehouse associate for our Purina Animal Nutrition business. You’ll coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, palletize and load final products with a forklift, and assist with cycle counts in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires a forklift certification, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds while following safety procedures. Weekend/overtime as needed may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others.
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly.
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery.
• Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Successful forklift certification required.
• Other duties as assigned.
