CareerArc in Joliet, IL is seeking an Operations Supervisor. The role is on-site with Mon-Fri, 2nd shift. You will supervise 30-40 associates, ensure GMP for a food-grade warehouse, and promote safety and efficiency while coordinating payroll and vacations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some college level study.
• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follows established operational procedures for verification of shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and inventory accuracy.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
• Builds a positive teamwork environment through effective communication with all associates.
• Maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitor daily adherence to safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training to maintain associate skills at required levels.
• Coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers; address complaints and productivity/quality concerns.
• Oversee 30-40 associates and ensure GMP for food-grade warehouse.
