Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet MVR quality criteria as defined by regulations/policy.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Certification to operate motorized material handling and rigging equipment must be obtainable.
• Clear oral and written communication skills and legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Generally responsible for basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, and pull materials from racks.
• Unload incoming material and help maintain warehouse upkeep.
• Receive, place, and return items into stock locations.
• Pull and package orders based on reviews of work/shipping orders.
• Tag material for identification and complete required documentation.
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane between areas.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
• Sort and place material by size, type, or product code; restock as needed.
• Spot-check inventory; report irregularities to supervisor.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and coworkers.
