2nd Shift Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage 2 to 4 direct report supervisors, and indirectly oversee 2 to 4 leads and 40 to 50 employees, depending on seasonal fluctuations.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection of warehouse staff with HR and recruitment teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing and material handling regulations, advising management on necessary actions.
• Oversee performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and policy adherence for supervisory staff.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, set goals and KPIs, and hold teams accountable.
• Promote safe workplace practices among warehouse personnel in line with safety programs.
• Maintain proper functioning of Voice-Pick, VIP software, and equipment; troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Verify inventory accuracy by monitoring management procedures.
• Manage time and attendance compliance, addressing non-compliance patterns through established corrective processes.
• Monitor and improve performance of warehouse staff under disciplinary measures.
• Provide periodic training on safety, policies, and operational updates.
• Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, invoices, and reports.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail.
• Initiative and ability to follow directions.
• Physical capability to move products manually or operate lifts/forklifts.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
