Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager for the 2nd shift in Tarboro, NC. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage staff, and drive safety and efficiency to meet customer expectations.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong MS Office skills, and solid knowledge of logistics, compliance, and supply chain fundamentals. Expect a salary in the mid-to-upper range with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, logistics, or supply chain.
• Proficiency in MS Office required.
• Logistics industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of supply chain components.
• Strong manufacturing and production knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and customer logistics functions.
• Lead and develop exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Plan and schedule daily activities to meet operational goals.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Address customer needs and manage service expectations.
• Support problem resolution with timely, data-driven decisions.
• Foster professional relationships across teams and customers.
• Adapt to off-shift support during disruptions and crises.
