Job summary

River City Millwork, a division of Rugby Architectural Building Products, is hiring for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate Loader in Rockford, IL. The role involves manual material handling, loading and unloading, and occasional forklift operation in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution preferred.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Sit-down forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks accurately and safely for customer deliveries.
• Manually move, stage and load building materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport heavy and oversized products.
• Receive, unload and store incoming materials.
• Verify products and quantities against customer orders.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area and attend safety meetings.
