Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Geneva, NY is seeking a 2nd Shift Case & Label & Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This role oversees labeling operations and warehouse activities, with a wage range of $70,000-$80,000 per year and a Monday–Friday schedule from 6pm to 4am, with occasional weekend shifts during busy season.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of labeling or ability to learn requirements.
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Knowledge of or ability to learn Gem-INCS, OSTAT
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead a team
• Must be flexible with good organizational skills
• Capable of making accurate and calculated decisions
• High School education or equivalent. Some post-high school education preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Leadperson or Supervisor in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations in labeling
• Responsible for label line efficiencies
• Order and inventory direct materials scheduling label lines to meet deadlines
• Responsible for overseeing the Maintenance of the labeling area
• Responsible for managing labeling personnel scheduling
• Responsible for reconciliation between GEM & INCS inventory
• Ensure compliance with Safety Regulations and Quality procedures
• Work with the Quality department to communicate any product issues
• EOM Reports (downtime records, line changes, etc.), Monthly Production Report
• Physical inventory preparations
• Chep Pallets, Label coordinator backup
• Participate in the Safety committee, Quality committee, Can damage committee
• Other duties as required or assigned
