Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking material handlers in College Park, GA to join our warehouse team. Role includes forklift operation, picking, packing, and shipping with a focus on safety and efficiency. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am, with a base rate of $18.00 per hour plus $0.50 per hour for second shift. Training and growth opportunities are provided to advance within the distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
