Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm) to support crate construction, packing, and unloading at our Tennessee facility. You will ensure orders are accurate, visually inspect cartons for shipment, and maintain clean, safe warehouse operations.

Benefits start day 1, with 80 hours vacation and an on-demand pay program. Physical readiness and basic shipping knowledge are helpful for success in this role.

Qualifications

• No experience required; mechanical aptitude helpful.
• Basic knowledge of shipping process helpful.
• Must be able to lift up to 86 pounds on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse operations: crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks.
• Load loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipment.
• Collect wood product for the setup and construction of crates.
• Build crates from wooden materials around cartons of product in preparation for shipment by flatbeds.
• Repair or reseal damaged cartons, or rebox product when necessary.
• Consolidate all accessory and siding products on storage racks when needed.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment.
• Perform warehouse maintenance and warehouse housekeeping.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor, if necessary.
• Maintain an accurate time card daily and calculate on a weekly basis.
