Job summary

RXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (1:00pm-9:30pm) in Charleston, SC. You’ll support shipping/receiving, verify orders, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

You’ll read customer and work orders, move items, and assist with inventory. Experience loading/unloading trailers and using handheld scanners is preferred; lifting up to 75 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Experience using handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift, push or pull at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities including unloading trucks and distributing orders.
• Read orders and determine items to move or ship.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Take calls from drivers to ensure on-time deliveries and verify load data.
