Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Distribution Center Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, at our Kings Mountain, NC facility. The role involves unloading inbound shipments, RF/Voice Pick guided picking, and loading outbound orders.

Responsibilities include maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity; operating basic warehouse equipment and learning WMS technology. Candidates should fit a fast-paced team environment and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of a variety of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.).
• Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution center is a plus.
• Warehouse/Operations certification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn WMS Technology and material handling equipment.
• Ability to adhere to all SOPs for safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload pallets and cases using pallet jack; verify counts and receipt using RF/Voice Pick tech.
• LUM Picking: select products per Voice Pick RF and place into totes; manage batch flow.
• Sortation: prepare sortation area and move cartons to pallets/carts.
• Loading: load totes and pallets onto trucks using RF scanner and pallet jack.
