Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a full-time Split Case Warehouse Associate for our distribution facility in Delran, New Jersey, on the 2nd Shift (1pm - 9pm). You will align paperwork with labels, scan items, run the SLO machine, and affix shipping labels in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires lifting 50+ pounds, standing up to 8 hours, operating a computer and RF device, and learning equipment like Cherry Pickers and forklifts. Strong communication and basic analytical skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Willing to train on Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks.
• Operate equipment safely and in a controlled manner.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights up to 25+ feet.
• Careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Some analytical experience is preferable.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Align paperwork with corresponding labels for insertion into books.
• Scan labels using a computer.
• Process books through the SLO machine.
• Affix shipping labels onto packages.
• Proficiency in computer operation is essential.
• Ability to utilize an RF device.
