Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (temporary) in Dover, OH. This hands-on role covers multiple warehouse tasks, including packaging, banding, and operating packaging equipment.

You will work on a variety of activities from pallet assembly to plasma table work, with opportunities to advance into specialized roles as you learn and contribute to a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of dependable work experience.
• 2 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience highly preferred.
• Some machine handling/ operating experience preferred- not necessary.
• Experience working on a plasma or burn table preferred - not necessary.
• Slitter experience preferred- not necessary.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep operations running smoothly in a hands-on warehouse role.
• Assist with packaging, banding, and operating the packaging line.
• Work with table saw, pallet assembly, nail gun, and plasma table as needed.
• Grow into specialized roles by learning across the team.
