Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm, Mon–Fri) with occasional overtime. This hands-on role covers packaging, banding, operating the packaging line, using a table saw, assembling pallets, and working with a nail gun.

It’s a position to gain broad experience and grow into specialized roles as you learn and advance within the team. We welcome candidates with 2 years of dependable work experience and manufacturing/warehouse exposure; basic math skills are

Qualifications

• 2 years of dependable work experience.
• 2 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience highly preferred.
• Some machine handling/ operating experience preferred- not necessary.
• Slitter experience preferred- not unnecessary.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Packaging and banding of products.
• Operating the packaging line and using a table saw.
• Assembling pallets and preparing materials for shipment.
• Working with a nail gun as required.

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this hands-on position, you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the warehouse - everything from packaging and banding to operating the packaging line, using a table saw, assembling pallets, and working with a nail gun.
