Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Worker for a contract-to-hire role based in St Paul, MN. The position focuses on order fulfillment, stocking, and material handling in both dry and cold storage environments, including a cooler down to 34 degrees.

You will pick and build customer orders, palletize products, and use forklifts or reach trucks as needed. The role requires 1+ year of warehouse experience and comfort with scanners and inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
• Experience operating reach trucks at White Bear Lake location.
• Comfort working in a cooler environment down to 34°F.
• Experience with order selection, packing, and inventory counts.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
• Proficient using computers and handheld scanners to manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Work in cooler, dry storage, and cold storage areas to pick, pull, and build orders accurately and efficiently.
• Palletize products and prepare them for loading, unloading, and staging for outgoing delivery.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Perform inventory computations by comparing physical counts to recorded quantities and investigate discrepancies or correct errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, or storage yards.
• Mark stock items using tags, stamps, or labeling equipment to ensure accurate tracking.
• Keep supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas clean and safe.
• Maintain detailed records on stock use and condition of stock handling equipment.
• Examine stock items for wear or damage and report findings to supervisors.
• Provide assistance to other stockroom or warehouse workers to support efficient operations.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, as required.
• Use computers and handheld scanners to process orders and update inventory records.
