Job summary

Priority Wire & Cable is hiring for a second shift warehouse position in Birmingham, AL. The role offers $18 per hour plus a signing bonus, with Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM hours.

Duties include processing wire and cable orders, operating cutting equipment, and using RF scanners and handheld devices to prepare shipments. Applicants should be able to lift up to 80 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Experience with wire & cable handling is a plus.
• Warehouse work in a non-climate controlled environment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort and prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist customers with local will-call orders and prepare orders for shipment.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Ship and receive truck deliveries.
