Job summary

SpartanNash in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Warehouse Support Clerk for 2nd shift to unload trucks, break down pallets, and prepare orders for shipment. You will use pallet jacks and other equipment to move groceries and related items, while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to perform 8–10 hour shifts and work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Must read and understand order forms and labels in English.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from trucks and break down pallets; stack and organize on racks/pick slots.
• Move cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of groceries and related products as required.
• Assist with sanitation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the warehouse; dispose of waste.
• Operator power equipment (pallet jacks, high-lift) and keep equipment in safe working order.
• Check products for damage and verify quantities per PO and pallet labels.
