Job summary

Cardinal Health in La Vergne, Tennessee, is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member to support the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. You will receive and fulfill orders, perform picking, packing, and shipment prep, and cross-train across multiple warehouse areas.

The role is structured with a Monday–Thursday 11:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule and Fridays 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Training starts on day one, and you will be equipped to support a fast-paced, patient‑centric

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work at heights 20–30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Able to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers/POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders.
• Accurately pick products, perform quality checks, pack products, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.

Job description

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. No matter what you do at Cardinal Health, you make a difference. Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday - 11:00 AM to 7:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 4:30pm (overtime per business need)

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders.
• This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
