Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC. is seeking an entry-level Assembly laborer for our New Berlin, WI team. The role operates assembly machines, handles materials, and stocks components at the machine. Starting wage is $21.15/hr with a 4.5% shift differential.

Hours are typically 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, Mon–Fri, with possible overtime and a temporary 3:30 PM–1:00 AM schedule in effect. Pre-employment checks apply; the company has a long history of manufacturing valves for multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend safety rules and operating instructions.
• Interpret materials and documentation such as bill of materials.
• Perform basic arithmetic for measurements and counts.
• Maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machines to produce valves using tools and fixtures.
• Occasionally handle materials and stock components at the machine.
• Learn setup/tear down for job changeovers with assistance.
• Disassemble and repair products as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize work area; follow safety rules.
• Assist with lifting and hoisting tasks; comply with inspections.
