Job summary

Azenta US, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a 2nd Shift Validation Technician (Mon-Fri, 3p-12a) to ensure equipment is suitable for its intended use, properly maintained, and kept in a validated state.

You will monitor freezer storage environments, enter data into CMMS, install and validate new freezers, and perform weekly and periodic maintenance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience with validation equipment and processes preferred.
• Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn facility management software platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate freezer storage environments.
• Enter data into CMMS and maintain documentation.
• Receive, unbox, install, setup, and validate new freezers.
• Perform weekly/monthly/annual maintenance on freezers and LN2 tanks.
• Proactively communicate issues to Facilities Manager.
• Operate basic equipment and assist with general repair tasks.
