Objective:

To ensure all parcel packages that process through the small parcel area are packed and shipped to arrive to our customers accurately and without damage, while working in both a time and cost efficient manner.

Essential Functions:

• Perform the required tasks such as picking, pack slipping, packing, manifesting, loading
• Report any quality variances
• Operate all necessary equipment in the work area
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Lift cartons or products up to 50 lbs
• Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Qualifications:

A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• Must be able to work with limited supervision
• Must be able to complete basic computer skills
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to drive equipment
• Able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to operate power industrial equipment
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
• Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) and the internet
• Proficient in WMS to include RF, user interface, and subsequent 3rd party carrier software such as UPS Worldship, FedEx online shipping, etc.
