Job summary

Plascore in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Tube Core Fabricator for the Machined Core division on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri 2:30 PM–10:30 PM). Role involves drilling, routing, finishing and assembly of components, with a starting wage of $23.29 per hour and a $1,200 sign-on bonus for this role.

Additional bonuses include $100 every 30 days of work up to 1 year, plus comprehensive benefits, 401(k) plan, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have strong math skills.
• Previous experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to perform essential job duties and enter information into company systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish work on components, assemblies, and products including forming, potting, splicing, sanding and trimming.
• Complete fabrication and assembly per drawings/instructions.
• Read, understand and execute written work instructions for manufacture of parts.
• Fill out all documentation completely and accurately.
• Inspect parts against quality requirements.
• Follow work schedule and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Assist, clean, and pack operations as needed.
