General Description of the Role

A Truck Driver is responsible for transporting barrels, tankers, and other finished goods between production and warehouse areas. Responsibilities include spotting trailers, loading and unloading barrels, and possessing a CDL license and Hazmat certification.

Mission/Objectives

Transport and spot trailers to ensure safe and efficient warehouse and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Comply with quality checks, GMP, ISO, and food safety standards.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve quality and resolve risks.
  • Ensure safety by following GMP practices, site safety rules, DOT, and company regulations.
  • Drive trucks safely, including pulling trailers, backing into docks, and over-the-road travel.
  • Handle warehouse inventory, barrel movements, and housekeeping efficiently.
  • Manage empty barrels, offloading/loading trucks, and standing barrels.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

Truck driving experience.

Education / Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, CDL required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Drive trucks to scheduled destinations.
  • Load and unload barrels.
  • Safely couple tractor and trailer.
  • Complete logs and records.
  • Inspect and repair equipment.
  • Perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and inspecting equipment.
