Job summary

Stoughton Trailers is seeking a production-oriented team member to operate a variety of tools for trailer construction. You will prepare metal surfaces, assemble sub-assemblies, and caulk seams on a fast-paced production line. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing layouts, and using overhead cranes where required.

The role emphasizes on-time performance, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies; overtime and regular attendance are expected to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide range of shop tools safely and efficiently.
• Capable of following blueprints and layouts for fabrication.
• Comfortable performing tasks on aluminum, steel, and wood components.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment to assemble trailer components on the production line.
• Prepare metal surfaces and caulk seams and joints as required.
• Position and fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Read blueprints and perform measurement layouts for assemblies.
• Operate overhead cranes and conduct road-critical safety inspections as needed.
• Maintain attendance, work overtime, and contribute to a safe, productive team environment.
